In Costa Rica you will still find gravel roads. 

It takes a lot of time and money to maintain these roads and during the rainy season many of the roads gets damaged by the heavy rain.

That’s why you always need to rent a 4×4 SUV to get to our house. All guests with a SUV 4×4 did make it all the way to the house – without any problems.

Today we got the road fixed so we will be ready when the rainy season arrives. It requires heavy machinery.
